Sorry to post general chit-chat but is has to be said this site is THE DOG'S NU**S - TOP STUFF GUYS - EXACTLY what I'm after - and proved that threads really is the business - I was really worried at first when i first switched from classic but now I can see that this baby is totally configurable and has amazing support. I'm not being funny but this software alone has made the difference between a sucessful site and 'just another clubbing site' for me - my members LOVE IT and they are keen to tell their friends - I keep saying "i did nothing - thank infopop or the mod writers!!" Anyway, KEEP IT UP - if only my company ran like a well-oiled machine such as this!!! James

While we're prasing the software here, I too will chime in. Essentially my site is simply a meeting place, a place to talk, setup meetings with other people, share pictures, etc. When I was using UBB, it was nice, but people saw it as just another UBB. When I made the switch, some people just were amazed at the new features, others were uncomfortable with the different look.
Well, after they got used to it, I added some different templates, mods, etc, they all love it. The site has grown tremendously recently, and with dave's index page system, from the webmaster point of view, it takes so much time off my hands trying to maintain it.
Granted, I'm still not rich or famous, but I've brought a lot of people together and made differences in hundreds of lives. So, its all worth it.

I recently helped a friend chose a forum board. Though I was partial to VBulletin, we settled on UBB Threads and I am really pleased with it. I like the clean lines and many features. I have recently spent some time on the Infopop board and it doesn't compare in looks or features. And all those flashing icons drive me crazy. May they never find their way into Threads options!
