Just out of curiousity, how many spam mails do you get per day for viagra and/or prescrition medicines? Grrr

heh in one of my email accounts I get about 15-20 a day

I've created quite a few emails accounts specifically because it gets engulfed (sp?) in the spam-black hole...

On my server I have a junkmail address set up specifically to use on sites that require an email, but I don't necessarily want to go back and use on a regular basis.

I clean that mail box out about 1-2 times a month. Yesterday, I deleted over 1000 emails... looking at the subjects makes my hair stand on end.

In my regular account, I've been averaging 5-20 a day. I hate it! I never use that account for anything but personal use. Although at one time it was posted on our website as a contact email and I think it got snagged by an email bot.

Same thing goes for my admin account, it's only for contact regarding our websites and that gets 3-5 a day...

I reaaaaally hate .

I've been considering setting up a new domain just for email that will only be given out to specific people.

Sometimes it seems the only email I get anymore is SPAM!! Very annoying!!

Hardly any. My one university account I've had for like 6 years gets the most, but usually only 10 or so a day. Otherwise all of my other accounts don't get any, or maybe get one a week or so.

83 in the last 2 hours and 9 minutes. 521 emails sent to an @infopop.com account that doesn't exist. 882 emails form various monitoring services updating status. I get about 2 to 3k emails per day.

Yikes - you've got me beat... although I get a couple hundred a day - but Spam assassin on the server side has really helped cut down.

Spam Assassin you say? I've debated on looking for some sort of spam filtering software but never got around to it.

Anyone recommend anything for the WIN2K platform? That doesn't cost thousands of dollars?

I finally turned off admin notification of undeliverable mail and protocol errors last night. Was getting tons of bounces.

now i get porn spam with nonsense "from" names....
