Hello, Iv recently decided to switch from Invision to Ubb.Threads. If any one can help me with a few questions that would be absolutly great.

How Stable/Secure is Threads?
How easy to mod/customize is Threads?
Is Website integration (Loging In, Using the threads member database for whole site authentication) possible, and is it relitvly easy to do?

I see the authentication is cool, but i want to use my own website index and not the portal. Like to take the vars from the loging script, feed it into the db, and then output it with all the cookie settings to allow the secure parts of the site to be used like the control panel if they are permited to do so.

I also use threads to control total site login. My user's choice in stylesheets also effects how my entire site is displayed, so each user can view the site the way they like.

Additionally I have integrated a number of custom forms and databases into my site using threads. I can't speak highly enough of my enjoyment of working with threads.

And of course the support and knowledge of all the people on this site make it even better!

I've worked with (and still do on occasion) with basically every forum platform out there. All have their own little pro's and cons, but when it comes to handling large forums with lightining speed, very secure, and the easy and FREE customizations you can add, you really can't beat threads.

Creating scripts to access the threads login info, stylesheets, etc is all fairly easy, and like Zackary mentioned, with the very active and helpful community here, getting these tasks accomplished is usually real straightforward

Well, you could download the IIP portal thing that is in use here, as it has a login box on the main page. You could probably see how that code works, and apply it to almost any script you want
