UBBDev News - November 2006UBB.Threads 7.0.1 Released- A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... work on the next generation of forum software began. Years of toil and frustration later, UBB.Threads 7 emerged and brought significant improvements in speed, reliability, and user interface.
- A portal and unlimited sub-forums are among the *many*
new features added while improving every aspect of the software. UBB.Threads 7.0.1 has been released fixing many of the usual small buglets that come with any major release - now's the time to upgrade

If you need someone to do the work for you, just ask in our "Dev for Hire" forum.
UBBDev and ThreadsDev Combination Finalized- Over the last year or so we've been moving the 2 dev sites closer together, first moving the support forums to the same site and now we've merged both forums into one very large support site -
https://www.ubbdev.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/cfrm (thank goodness for sub-forums

). We still support our "Legacy" and "Vintage" modifications tho you won't see much/any new development on them.
- We do have an active community working on Threads 7 modifications, css styles, template mods, etc. here:
https://www.ubbdev.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/postlist/Board/21 - come on down when you are ready to tweak your site just a little bit/lot more.
Welcome Gizmo to Administrative Status- Some may call him the "Spaminator" but now we'll all be calling him "Administrator" - after many years as a fine moderator for UBBDev and beta tester for all things new, we're proud to announce Gizzy as UBBDev's newest admin. He's helped many members over the years and I'm sure will continue long into the future. Welcome
New on the Horizon- Expect to see new photo gallery software soon that works with Threads 7 and all the other major forum scripts - written from the ground up to support the zend framework and with a style that everyone will love. Stay tuned for more news as it develops.
Have a great holiday season,
Sincerely,
Allen
