I have many users, many moderators, and many problems I would rather not sit in judgement on. Is there a mod that would allow moderators to ban members from only their forum?

I would also love to see this and have mentioned it before.
Currently the only way I have found is to create multiple groups say 'not x forum', which gives permissions on all forums except x and move the 'banned' member into that group.
Fans Focus - Focusing on Fans of Sport (Okay - mainly football (the British variety  at the moment - but expanding all the time....)

That's the only way I found out too, and we basicly decided that if you misbehave, you will loose postingrights to the entire forum. Too much work otherwise

hrm.. should be possible to jump into the build_permissions and take that into account on the fly..
the thing is.. where to store the 'forum ban' and duration and all that..
and also add the cpanel interface..
is it that important?

the thing is.. where to store the 'forum ban' and duration and all that.. We abuse the user notes table for several permissions that supporting scripts use. Something like *NOBOARD##* in it would stop a user from posting in forum ##. Or some other field in the profile. Not the most admin friendly, but workable.

All I want is for mods to be able to decide who is banned and for how long and to stop hassling me LOL
