Old UBB.Threads imported posts weren't parsing correctly, until today anyhow. From a suggestion from id242 we updated all of the old posts to "both markup and ubbcode" and rebuilt all topics; from doing such all of the posts now are parsed properly and readable to the user (and search engines). Thanks again id242 for all of your suggestions!

I've got some issues on my site with this, how did you do it?
I have some old ubb topics that has issues with the formatting - they serve up html instead of linking to smilies or whatever.

I just talked with Isaac to refresh what all happened; we set the flag on all posts older than the "allow edit time" to allow html, then we rebuilt the posts; since the old posts are outside of the edit time the users cannot go in and edit the posts and embed anything that shouldn't be there.
