If there is some interest in this hack, I'll post it here. Basically, it puts the user last post time and date in their profile, so you can see their latest activity on the forum. Take a look at it in my bio here:

If you guys want it, I can post the code for it here. I know Charles did a similar hack on his board, but I don't think he ever shard the code, and his links to the thread as well, which I didn't really want.

It's one of many that will be included in my extra fields hack... My version also includes the URL and title of the thread last posted to, not just the time and date: http://flare.solareclipse.net/cgi/ubbmisc.cgi?action=getbio&UserName=Charles+Capps

TO Slurpee:
When I click on the date of last post, i get to http://www.vhlinks.com/vhlforum/Forum9/HTML/.html
I think there must be some number between /HTML/ and .html

Try it again now, i just changed my coding so that the date links to the thread with the last post.

Well I pussed out! I now have it set up so that there is a link to the URL where the last post is, just like Charles'.

Hé thanks thats a great hack.

But I live in Europe and would like to use the European thime (24h) and not PM and AM. I search everything, changed the

$PostInfoDate = &DateFormat("$HyphenDate", "USExpanded");

to

$PostInfoDate = &DateFormat("$HyphenDate", "EuroExpanded");

But it didn't work. Can you tell me what I have to do to make everything work like i want it to be?

It does put a link to the apge even if it's in a private forum, but when you click the link (at least when I did) it gives a 404 FNF error. I thought that was cool because it keeps the private forums private.

I am still getting a "Not Available Yet" when i go into profile.I checked over the ubbmisc a million times,and i even checked over postings.cgi.Can any of you helping me?ANd by they way,is this hack standalone or you need the last post info hack?

This is a cool hack, but I didn't like how it makes the titles of your private posts available for public view, to fix this replace:

with this:

Make sure you do that twice, it's in two places...!

this script in the database is not upgraded with the options for non showing private foruns last posts

oh and about Thermit suggestion dont forget that the 2 are slightly different (1 variable, that gets the topic number, has a different name in New Topic and Reply functions)
