Tested and working. in cpanel2.cgi find: under it add: now for postings.cgi find: replace with: find: replace it with: find: replace with: Go to your general variables, and at the bottom set the maximum number of images to whatever. MasterMind, can you please tell me exactly what this hack does? I understand that you can set the maximum number of images in the CP. mrwebb its going about maximum images in a post, Normaly you can post 8 images max at the same time in UBB, But with this hack you can change the counts on maximum images, in your CP. I installed it and put 20 as max (it count the smilies) but when I try to set more than 9 images in a post I get a "Connection Timed Out" Why?

What happens is as you increase the number
of allowed images it increases the time it
takes to count. I am not a perl guru but I
do know after testing this it bogs
postings.cgi if you up the limit a lot.
If you delete the check out of it runs fine
with no delay. So if you increase above 8 expect a bigger delay in postings.cgi
