I made two changes to the Edit Profile in CP hack by Skalos. One is a slight bug fix and the other is an update for 5.47.

The bug occured when you wanted to add new fields to a user profile, but a carriage return did not exist for that field yet in the member profile file. I changed the for loop from being based on number of lines in the file to being based on the maxmemfields value.

The update for 5.47 was a problem with the script eating signatures when writing the file. I changed the signature parsing to fix this.

Ramirez - quick question for you.

I know this should be in UBB Hack Questions but I'll be quick.

I added theis hack to my 5.47 test board, and I tried it our, all seemed well except (1) thing. HIt doesn't change all the posts, and pm's that were created under the "old" user names.

Example - I had XX for the original name then changed it to YY. All the posts. pm's etc, that were made / associated with XX remained labeled as such. All the post number and additional field information was correct for YY (ex - XX).

Is there a mod in the works to track and rename all the (XX - files / posts, etc) to the newly changed YY name ??
