Well, I finished it finally. It is a simple mod that lets users insert a [sound] code into their messages. It utilizes the tag, but it only allows .mid, .midi, and .wav files, so you can't put in movies, or flash, or etc.

There's 2 things you missed DT.

1) Add the "how to add sound" section in ubbcode.html.

2) Optional (but looks alot better if users are using Windows Media Player)

Oh , whats different is that I used a HEIGHT="45" tag on the tags.

I don't use Windows Media Player. As a matter of fact, I hate it. I recommend that you do not make the changes Ghoste suggested unless you are sure most of your users use Windows Media Player instead of Quicktime to handle tags. Quicktime is much better.

Ahh , here are the problems with QuickTime.

1) You have to pay for it (to get rid of pop-ups)

2) Its slow loading.

3) Its made by Macintosh

and if u want the flash in post i have that too, and also that i have customzite my ubb_bottom_35 to have flash and sound in the bar cheack it out Vietnight Forum
and also click on "Click Here for advanced font properties." to see the sound bottom.

Alright...a few things; I'll be as frank as possible:

1) I documented this Mod...I didn't ask for it.
2) Macintosh isn't a company, Apple is. It's Apple that makes Quicktime. Also, I think macs are the best. More graphic designers use macs than any other computers. Anyway, I don't want to get in a Mac vs. PC argument now, so I'll shut up about that.

I am new to this UBB stuff, I have used the one at ARHQ (Kola's site) for ages, but now I am making one I know ****e. So could you insert the sound code 4 me, i would be really gratefull, my computer cant read .pl or .cgi either, so its a bit hard for me, though i will customize it.
