CUSTOM RANK AND ICON HACK A.K.A Personal Icon and Rank Reward Hack UPDATED

Description:
It adds another line to the members profile, if the line is blank (as it is at default), the normal board ranking system is used, if the line contains something, it is used as a rank. It's a fairly simple hack, but may need modifying a little to work with other hacks that modify the members profile (line number changes). The original version required the admin to manually enter the rank code into the Rewarded Members memberfile, the new version (1.50) includes a front-end for this.

Description:

AUTO-REFRESH FEATURE HACK

Description:
Adds a meta tag in the forumdisplay.cgi and ultimate.cgi so they refresh every 90 seconds, not that complecated is it? Well... some people don't like this feature so, I boosted the hack up a little, and made it a Preference option, which is stored in the forum cookie, so the forum viewer gets to choose whether they want the forum to auto-refresh or not

PICK 'N CLICK MESSAGE ICON HACK

Description:
If you have HTML enabled, this is a brilliant little hack, the Message icons that are stringed along the top of Post and Reply screens are clickable via this hack, and clicking the icon adds the required HTML code to post the icon.

nice hacks..

i added the pick 'n' click message thing..looked like it worked..but now the profile sections are not showing up, it's a crucial part of the board too..i took out the hack and it still didn't work..your hack was the last one i added..profile is in ubbmisc.cgi and i didn't edit it for the hack..i dunno what's wrong but prior to your hack, everything worked perfect..

Looks like a no go with 5.47. Any hint on what to change? and yes... HTML is enabled.

hi i just installed the icon hack on version 5.45c and now when i try to post i get this message what can it be thanks for any help

Hack attempt logged or corrupt member file found with extra fields [15 total]

find $maxmemfields = 14; # = 15 max fields for member data in your ubb_library.pl file and change the 14 to a 15 so it will look like this: $maxmemfields = 15; # = 15 max fields for member data

Okay , I installed the Icon Hack for my ubb version 5.46 and everything is going good or so I thought Anyways I submit the info for the rank and icon for the user and it says :Ren now has the rank: 'Great Lord

' which I assume means it's configured right cause that's where the icons in that directory . My problem is the ranks aren't updating and the icons aren't showing up
all I have are the default ubb ranks
so how do I fix this ?

You installed the code 1/2 of the hack right?

Turb got a question for ya. I put your Icon Hack on and it works fine but the problem im having is some post a message with just one link of text that links above (e-mail icon, homepage icon ect..) drop down and the ip log from the bottom comes ups. Anybody got any ideas? You can see it here

Is there a possibility that you can modify your PICK 'N CLICK MESSAGE ICON HACK to use UBB code instead of HTML? I tried to modifiy it myself but I keep getting errors. I asked this because on some forum, I disabled HTML and others I kept it enabled.

Turb has some of the best hacks around, why are they not added to the database UBBDev guys?

I have no idea. Ask Allen or Vipermad to add these hacks if they aren't there.
