Ok I'm sure everyone's seen the Star Hack... Well this hack is like the star hack but instead of stars, it has a little green bar. It also has more than just the 4 ranks (Administrator, Moderator, Member, Junior Member) it has a total of 9 ranks that are given by post number. This hack also detects when a user hits a milestone, and changes the user's profile accordingly.

The ranks are as follows:
First Time Poster = 1
Newbie = 2 - 27
Regular Newbie = 28 - 41
Junior Member = 42 - 74
Member = 75 - 99
Frequent Poster = 100 - 199
Super Member = 200+
Moderator = Moderator Status
Admin = Admin Status

BTW, do you think you can create a Custum Title hack that can only be edited by the admin, and doesn't require me to add profile fields? I tried every hack and they don't work.

Also I have found one major bug with this hack! You need to go into the CP and change the Junior Member default name to "First Time Poster" or there will be major problems!

Keep gettin this error?

Error including the required files:

Be sure you uploaded UltBB.setup, Styles.file, mods.file and forums.cgi in ASCII/Text mode to your CGI directory. [This is a manual setting on your FTP software]

Make sure spelling and case are correct: UltBB.setup not ultbb.setup.

Here is the message returned from UBB:

Missing right bracket at ubb_library2.pl line 2479, at end of line syntax error at ubb_library2.pl line 2479, at EOF

Well obviously it's your ubb_library2.pl, I think you are missing a } somewhere.

is this hack can cause problem if i have installed the star hack 2000???

I also got this error when I was changing some stuff around, preparing to release a new version of this hack... PLEASE SAY YOU HAVE A BACKUP! Cause if you don't it's going to cause MAJOR problems for you! I ended up trying to put the bracket at the end of the sub, and it was catastrophic! Whatever you do DON'T put it before the hack begins, if you do, be warned it will cause the topic to only display the last reply of the post! It ain't pretty!

Solution:
If you have a backup, restore the backup! ASAP! If you do not have a backup, be very careful what you do, and make a backup now so if you put the } in the wrong place you won't screw up all your topics! You can try to put it where the end of the hack is, and that should fix it. NOTE: DO NOT UPDATE THREADS YET! GO AND POST A NEW MESSAGE, EDIT THAT MESSAGE, AND THEN POST A REPLY TO THAT MESSAGE IF EVERYTHING IS ALRIGHT, UPDATE THE THREADS THEN!

Actually the first part of this hack was made from a modified tweaked version of the Star Hack 2000, the other part was made by hand. What I would do if you have the star hack 2000 is just to go back through and uninstall the Star Hack, and then install this hack. That's the easiest thing to do.
