When I installed it, it worked fine for me, except one thing:

Why does it not show the border in privateview etc. ?

Looks terrible, border=1 instead of border=0 brings up these double-borders, could anyone help me ?

All the code is on about 4 or 5 lines when i open them in Notepad.

I uplaoded in ASCII and CHMODed to 777..... Any ideas?

did you make your private directory (all in lower case) and set permissions to 777? Also, check the path to perl on your files, some were set to different paths in the older downloads...

Yes, path to perl 5 is correct. The private dir is at 777 permissions and is in lowercase.

I've got everything installed (Ver 2.0 & 3.0 updates). Everything that I can test seems to be working correctly, save privatesend.cgi. I've fixed the @ issue and now when I click "send" I get returned back a blank html doc. When I run from telnet, I get all the server stats.

Only thing I can solve off the top of my head: muc, the borders around the cells + tables aren't actually borders, they're cellspacing. Add CELLSPACING=2 and see what happens.

OMG! I only just realised we've got V3 running here at UBBDev.com! Anyone had any problems here yet?

Can someone reupload the files in the proper format so all the code isn't on 4-5 lines when i open them?

Can you please upload the ubbhack.txt file? It's not included in the zip.

Another problem....

I tried the UBB Code "bold" button and got a runtime error.

I ran debug and it pointed to this:

document.PostTopic.Comments.value+=NewCode

While this is in progress, I'll post an updated file to the database that will have all the files needed to install it from scratch, plus double check those file you are having problems with Austin.

I opened the in Wordpad instead, and they come up fine.
I guess they didn't like Notepad at first.

The only problems I have now are:

privatedelete now works fine, but after sending a PM thru privatesend, a lone checkbox appears above the PM Inbox text on the left.

Code buttons work fine here. Checked that earlier.

Are you using v3.5 of the codebuttons? Upload MM's new ubbcodebuttons.pl file and see if that clears it up...

Problem: My "privatesend.cgi" returns a blank HTML page when I go to it. I have fixed the @ error by adding a before the @. If I remove the I get a 500 Error >_<

I have reinstalled the hack twice, and double checked my uploading and CMHODing.

Does anyone know how to get it NOT to display a blank HTML page?

Ok, i see there are some bugs.

borg and allen, when will this be completed so i can move it to FINISHED mods?

It works fine on my end, maybe a few changes are needed to make it look better and some new features.

Thanks for your help, but I did both of those (@address and $SigPreCheck), but it still shows a blank page. Anyone know anything else that is wrong?

NBAustin- that's a javascript error; did you change the codebuttons in any way?

Check function bold and function addtext are the same as the original mod.... if it's only Bold that causes the problem, the error MUST be in function bold.

zParaduck.. do you have UBBcodebuttons installed? I fnot, try removing the lines:


I actually have no idea if that will work on a UBB without codebuttons installed... but it seemed worth a try.

Never seen "the box in the tophand corner" but I know for a fact the hopto: box is screwy; if I sort that, I suspect this other phantom checkbox will sort itself out too.

well after i did the little fix that mastermind said anyways.
i am still running 5.46 and codebuttons 3.0
cuz i am not much of a ubb hack so i will not try to update them myself.
hehe oh well.
but it is working anyways.
