Hi guys,

well, ICU is doing a good job on my site (you should give it a try). Yesterday I installed the 'Favourites2.0' (I renamed it on my site to 'myForum') and now I'm thinking about to create a Bookmark-Mod: so Users can klick on a bookmark-Button and add a thread to a 'my favourite'-System. Well, does this sort of hack already exist and in case it doesn't exist yet, would anyone be interested in or would like to help me creating this hack? Sometimes my users are confused in finding 'top' threads again, because hosting over 67.000 entries makes some sort of chaos [Linked Image]
best regards from munich,

p.s. i'm still trying to include the privatMessageNotification in active.cgi smirk

I have to find some little Bugs but it seems to work fine. Because I'm a newbie in creating own perl/cgi-scripts and i do have some major problems in creating/reading and writing files I took the CYMPH and modified it for my needs. Well, I'm going to finish my betaVersion 2day and i'll let you know, so you may have a look at it today evening... I'm not really into coding, so I regret that it takes a while untill I've finished my hacks... smirk

Bye the way, i do have following problem: I'd like to send myself a PrivateMessage with a complete routine, but using $user as the receiver doesn't work. I also tried to use $UserName, but it also doesn't work. The variable $UserName is going to replaced with the Username of the user who made the LASTEST reply in a thread. So, well, where's the mistake smirk ?

best regards from munich,
chris
