Oh Gawd I know I'm going to get blasted here but, here goes:
After the hack that replaces the folder tree and replaces it with a > . .> . . sort of thing in a frame.
I have 5.47.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
(I really have spent a couple of hours here trying to find them).

i tried making one but it didnt work in ubb_library2.pl sincei cant call categories in there

What hack displays the announcements like that, so the user doesnt have to click on the announcement icon to read it

I noticed a few mistakes in it, l had to fix up the colspan on a few lines and a few small things, other then that it works a treat

now anyone wants to help me and tell me how to get postings.cgi to recognise the Category thingy

my tree hack wont work 100% w/o it

I didnt bother with the category bit in the $BBname >> $Forum

I think the variable is $category so cant you just replace the folderline with
$BBName >> $Category >> $Forum >> then the thread itself.

i can call the $categories in Ultimate and Forumdisplay but not in ubb_library2

i think i have to do a bit modification in the postings.cgi

Thanks, well maybe you can cheat and in ubb_library2 add the line
require "Ultimate.cgi";
then you can use variables from within that script Dont know if it will work, but its worth a try

Did you find what that tree replacement hack you were looking for? If not I can tell you how to do it, its very easy!
