Props to Jigga-Master for the original hack for 6.xx versions

I altered the code a bit to work on my 5.47d version...
I got a lil stuck at one point & a good friend DaCeMan bailed me out..
Props to him as well..

so If you want to,

in ultimate.cgi

Code
code:

change the colors to suit your needs

In your c/p to style settings in there insert this into "Header Insert"

Code
code:

I dont have a clue what versions it will work with, so good luck smile

IMO the forum display page is to cluttered with that box in there...specially if you have an anouncement..(of course a matter of opinion)

Yes main page only...

Do you have the private messages hack installed, and if so, which version?

on the main page when you clicked a mods name it would get profile.. In the forum display it would get a p/m ready to send to the mod. if you have private messages?

I set it up to work with private message hack...

Code
code:

finished
change the color to suit your needs
you know the drill

SO, If someone wanted to hook me up with the hidden text hack or anything close for 5.47d I would be forever in your debit!

of course I did....bare in mind I am not a perl programer nor claim to be one....with the demise of ver 5 hacks happening now we do what we got to do..
Honestly, I thought maybe if I made some effort here that some other nice person will come forth with the hack I need/want/need...

I guess I'll just keep throwing a few shamless plugs like that one in a post now and then maybe someone will hook it up....

Yeah, Only few people use Version 5 now. I'm using Version 6 But I still help out here and I have documented a new hack not too long ago. Don;t think there are any more hacks for v5. frown

UBB Version 6, I had installed it already myself, IMHO all I did is throw more money away..

My 5.47d has alot of mods & I'm very comfortable with it, the members love it..(thanks the big dog their easy to please) but, I really am in need of that hidden text hack.. I think before I turn to version 6 again I will try VBB Board.. In comparison they are just as bloated in file size but VBB is much much faster.. Maybe if I get my wish I wont have to change.. smile

Only a few people use UBB 5? Are you serious? There are probably thousands of version 5 boards still on the net.

You must feel proud that you know that. It's uncommon to Find V5's that much because most Popular forums or most forums have gone to V6.

I don't know why but i don't realy like the new 6 series. Ubb 5 series is good enough for me especaily with all the hacking i am doing to it.
