i'm in need of a hack to show the last time a user posted in their profile...

i found a thread here referencing such a thing, but the hyperlinks within the thread (linking to the code) were dead.

anyone know where i could find such a thing?

i'm having a small issue with the last post hack which is baffling me.

i have ubb version 5.47

the hack works - that is, once i install it (adjusting the array element to 15 instead of 16 for my setup), when i post, my profile shows the last post i made. happiness.

the part that isn't working: if i as a user go into my profile and submit any changes, the value of the "last post" variable gets changed to 0:0.

then if i post again, it resets the variable to correctly display my last post. (edit my profile again, and i get 0:0.... you get the picture...)

i cannot for the life of me find the spot in the code that is writing "0:0" to my last post variable.

any thoughts?

nevermind....

found a setting in the karma hack i've got installed that conflicted with the last post hack. changed that karma setting and now EVERYTHING WORKS!

life is good.
