Was wondering where I could get the hack that shows number of views for each topic along with views for current day. An example is: Topic: Question - 11 views (11 today) Dave is using it on his arlo forums. Example here http://www.arlo.net/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000287.html

Hmmm, I must be blind in my old age....I don't see ANYTHING like a views counter there. Honest...are you sure that was the right link? There is a views counter working at Prowler Owners Association and at Viper Club of America . Are those what you are looking for?

scroll down a little. Below the Original post.
The next table with in blue header in says: Topic: Question - 20 views (20 today)
If you still do not see it. Do a quick end find for the word Author. It is just to the right of the word Author

Ahhhhh, OK! That is EASY! Take the same hack I have running on the Prowler and Viper boards...but INSTEAD of calling the "hits variable" that has the number for that thread...just redo the code and have it show up there!! I would assume the act of collecting the counts is the same (for the most part)...the only difference (for the most part) is how the results get displayed. Very nicely done. I don't know that this is a hack in and of itself....I think he worked a little magic of his own.
