Or you can use the AIM hack for the AIM field, it will add an AIM field as well as an easy adding icon on topic pages.

I suggest just use the one that viper said, this was it wont clash with any other hack as you are simple adding fields.
I can't afford a good signature editor

I think you have to put the names of the fields and stuff in the code in the files.

Yeah as it says in that hack, those fields are only used as a demo, you can add/remove fields as you see necessary but will need to make slight alterations to the adding/removing of code.
I can't afford a good signature editor

It should have CP interegation so it's easier to change the fields.

No one answered exactly how to let users put their picture in their profile. I'd like to know how it is done as well.

I dont get it... What do you not understand exactly at Allens hack? You can simply add a picture using that hack.
Let your users post their Url to their picture and put html img tags in the profile around that field, and you are done...

This is not true, the Karma hack modifies the way profile fields are stored. Therefor it will become more difficult to add extra profile fields. If I have the time I will look into it and explain, but the Karma hack makes it hard to follow the instructions for the 'add extra profile field'-hack.

Ok thanks, I see how to do the other fields. but I want to add the members picture to the profile field. When you click on my profile, you see my picture " Thats what I want  " Also how could I add the PM's like on this boards to my profiles ?
