Hi guys, if I set my ubb to allow registration, email verification required during registration, and moderate registration request
How do I the moderator or the admin figure out who has to be validated ie granted posting privileges? I was hoping the program would shoot off an email for every new registration when moderate registration request is turned on. Should I turn on the "notify admin of new registrations" feature also then to enable this?
Thx in advance!

Yes I think you have to, so It can send a email to the admin.

Yep, you both are right! One board I run is set up this way...and I get an e-mail for each registration. I added the IP address to the information I get...for quick and simple verification (not all that accurate..but it HAS come in handy several times). Then, you get a link in the e-mail so you can double (or single) click it and enable the account!!

Vipermad that's interesting. Actually I added the hack to record the IP upon registration, but not to email the admin/mod the same info. Where did you add that code into so that the mods also receive the IP address in the email? I need it coz I have been having a hard time with pestering kids registering multiple usernames. Thx.

Put on that feature that only allows a email to be registered once...
