This hack will allow you to set a maximum number of lines that a user can use in their signatures. It will also prevent old members from posting until they modify their sig to comply with your new rules
I just installed the File Upload hack and want to fine tune it before I add this....but once we get a few more installs of this and check it's application across other versions (I run 5.45c), I'll add it to the database here.
I'm dying to try this out...so I don't think I can hold off too long!!
