For 'Who's Online', I would like to modify the 'Record Book' to show the max total users, ever, as opposed to the record book refreshing itself every 24 hours or so. Does anyone have some code for this in online.cgi?
This is for V5.47d.

It's not supposed to refresh but the Record Book was still in beta in 2.1b.

Lord Dexter, thanks for the reply. Is there anyplace you can point me to to dowload a fix? Or could someone post the code here to fix the refresh problem? Thanks again  Dave

No fix has ever been created for this problem.
I simply dont use the record book on my page, I just removed the code so it doesnt show it anymore.
I can't afford a good signature editor

Also it sometimes seems to reset when you Update Threads. But thats only sometimes.

This sure is a weird bug. I've looked at the code many times but can't find it. My Record book has been running for a year and refreshed itself about 4 times during that year. Also last year it once gave the date 'February 0', I hope I will remember to look at it next week if it still does that...

We have this hack installed.
I did notice today however a greater number of visitors were online than the Record Books shows. IE: Online now 50, record book 34
What may I have done wrong to cause the Record not to display correctly?
When should the record book update?
Where is the counter file stored?

The record book has always been buggy, there is no fix for it. Just have to live with it, I just removed it
