Couldn't find another v5.0 board to post at, so please don't remove or move this post.
I was wondering if there was a way to stop a Banned member from editing his messages (without removing all of his messages).
Thanks

Why not just delete his account? Then he wont have a user/pass to use when trying to edit messages.
I can't afford a good signature editor

Yes or you could prune his posts. But BassTeQ's idea is more time efficent.

Joking Down, I did exactly as you instructed but it still allowed me to edit my messages, though my IP was banned (banned myself and tried it).
And your hack for "banning a user from one board, and not the entire forum" never worked for me either. Perhaps our versions are different or something? Because no one has problems with this but me, even though I follow your directions perfectly. I have version 5.47, what do you have?

l0cke,
when you test it on yourself, make sure you ban yourself and make sure you are not a moderator or admin, else you will be able to edit the post.
