I've made the modifications to my BBS using the Mas*Mind mod, and all seemed to go ok.
When I goto the control panel and try and execute the smilies option i get:
CGI Error The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:

Any ideas?

Did you upload it as smilies.cgi and chmod it to 755?

That assumes that I have FTP running on that area, which I do not. What permissions does that file need to have? and is this the cause?

The folder it is in has full permissions I believe. Since updating the scripts as per the instructions, posting and replying no longer works. Once you click the submit button, you just get a nice blank screen, and the post is not created.

Aside from what has been said...did you go into General Settings and update the path to your smilie directory?? I have seen this several times and it appears the file was not uploaded in ASCII, and the path has not been updated. It APPEARS like that. Once you go into General Settings..THEN go to the Configure Smilies option and either have ALL smilies defined...or remove any that do not have an image associated with them. Did that make sense? (confused)!!! Report back so we know how you are getting on!!

The Blank Screen Problem: You need to go to your CP and add at least 1 smilie. If you have none added you'll get that blank page on posting and replying.
