Maybe you need something a little more earth shattering to shake things up. How about dropping a bowling ball instead?  Psssssst... If you're bored... please fix up the attachment hack. There were a few other people that had the same problem I did...I think it was the same problem. It only shows up for the initial upload, not every post. PM me if you'd like more details on what I have in mind.

I love my v5 board too, but I just cant think of any more hacks I need to write for it, im happy with it now

Hi,
ATTACHMENT HACK
I have the attachment hack v1.6 nearly working but I am having the following problem.
All files upload correctly and the HTML code is being generated for the link to the uploaded document. Problem is when I view the posts the link / icon for the upload is not being inserted into the message but the text attach is inserted at the beginig of all posts???
Any ideas where this is being generated??
Everything else seems to be working just not the final icon display.

Deb said there were problems with the Attachment hack. Maybe that was the problem.

the problem is that no one wants to address the problem. got a link peejayjay so i can visualize the issue myself? then ill fix the attachment hack code for you. sounds like a very easy fix and no doubt exactly what you want to read rather than "oh there is a problem with the problem".

Wish that was the case. I think a lot of them just got left in the lurch when version 6 was released and hacks needed to be created for that.

Some finished before they went to v6 actually. So that wasn't the case for all hack creators.
