I'm looking for a custom title hack. I want one which the administrators can add new ranks (for more than 4) and specify the name and post count. Differently from Star hack.
I think it's like the Jimbo one (which I never tried, but heard) for UBB 5. Is one available, or on development?

Check the Beta Hacks forum. IIRC, this hasn't yet been released, but is surely in development.
Many hack authors are waiting for UBB6 to come out of beta before releasing their hacks.

BTW, what is Avatar? I am seeing this word many times when searching for the ranks hack...

An Avatar is another name for the image that goes below your name. When you put this hack in it will allow you to select the image of your choice and put it on the left hand side below your Username. And you can find your custom title/ranks in the beta forum. Get the one made by Dark Templar, his has the most features and allows you to make your own custom title via your profile.

How's this hack coming along? I have been searching the database all day as well as threads but no such luck. I have the code from Jimbo's old one - any use trying to rehash it to work with the new UBB? Has someone done this already? Please help!!!

because i really liked that one
and is there a GOOD avatar dropdown hack that will actually work good and you can customize the size of the avatars like the one for ubb 5??
