I was curious to know if any of the following ideas for mods are currently in the works for when 6.0 goes out of Beta:
- A link added on to the end of a topic header that allows a user to automatically leap to the last read message under that topic.
- A mod that resizes the Posting page based upon the size of the user's browser window. (ie, a text box that's wider for someone using a 1024x768 display as opposed to one using a 640x480 display).
- A mod for a "Preview" page that you can click on before actually posting your response. This would allow posters to see exactly what their message is going to look like, and edit it before they actually submit it.
- A mod that allows individual users to set up their own CSS for the pages, or at least the portion where the messages are actually posted. Some sites, as I'm sure you've noticed, have designers who are completely color blind and wish to make everyone using their boards as blind as a bat themselves. (May the gods forever curse those who use blue-on-red!)
Those are the mods that I think would be most desireable to a large number of people (I have ideas for a number of others, but they're muc more specialized), and as I said, I was curious to know if anyone was working on anything remotely similiar to them.
