Hi everyone,

I already have a site in place. It uses php as a front end to PostgreSQL. I would like UBB to authenticate using an existing autenticate table in my PostgreSQL database.
I have all of the fields that UBB uses and even a few more for the site purposes. Is there an "easy" way to do this? I have searched with no luck. Is this documented already somewhere that I don't know about?

I have been trying to find a solution to my request for almost a year now since I purchased this software

As you noted, I am working on a tutorial explaining how to splice an external data storage method into the UBB... Just hang on a few months.

I appreciate you taking the time in doing this as MANY users will be eternally grateful How's it progressing? Need any input or testing?

It's on indefinate hold due to the backwards way that UBB does authentication now, and the fact that despite being the current code maintainer, I am unable to alter the existing behavior........
