Most people don't check their profile area that much so a cool hack would be to notify a member when they receive a private message on the main forum page like Who's Online or something.
I hope it's permitted to reply to a suggestion I like to move it back up to the top of the list and give it another chance for consideration. A private message alert of somekind would be really great. an email notification would be cool too, but some sort of notice of private messages while on a main forum page would be even better.
