I was going to offer you 'hackers' to use my software to make life easier for you all

It's been tested by lots of people and I've finalized the version. I am also going to start entertaining requests for the next version.

I already have in mind a few things, but take a look and see if the tool measures up to your expectations. I also created a tutorial file for everybody to learn how to use the application quickly.

Also, I'm looking for somebody with Perl or related experience to help code a online database of hack files that is searchable and listable. If anybody has these skills and some free time, please email me.

How about an add BEFORE option? An option for UBB CGI directory and an option for the UBB template directory?

Add Before is sort of redundant don't you think, since you will be adding everything AFTER something else?

I'll keep my mouth shut on new features for now, as I don't want to promise anything just yet. But I want suggestions from everybody which is why I'm posting here, and also in hopes that people start to use this app for distributing hacks.

Hopefully, all will go well and everybody can start to use this app to make their lives a LOT easier

Add before sometimes makes it easier in different situations. My goal as a code writer is to distribute as LITTLE of official UBB code as possible. This may require me to use an ADD ABOVE instead of an ADD BELOW.

One new feature that I would like is the ability to modify old templates easier ... the current implementation of creating new hacks from scratch is often VERY tedious and gets tiresome.

I will probably be adding an Add Before button, due to lots of requests for it.

Modifying old templates is something that will be held over for a 2.x version. I'm working on a 1.1 right now because I just want to add some conveience features to the application.

By the way, have INFOPOP replied to Allen regarding the distribution of SHW files?

No, I've yet to hear a word from them.

Besides, I don't think it's going to matter much. If Infopop wants to limit their code that's their business though I don't think it will help any of their customers.

At any rate, I'll await what happens from them however it won't slow any type of progress made to the application for Infopop or any other company. I'll be working on a disclaimer soon to keep myself protected from such companies.
