Charles - now that you're working at Infopop, will you still be doing those hacks from your to-do list? Or should we request them again?

Actually, could you do me a favor? Track down everywhere where I said something was on my todo list and post it here.

I've lost it six times this week alone. I don't know where it is now...

I'm currently in the process of programming an online one as opposed to a pad of paper and a pen.

Either way, the items will get done. Whether they will be in the form of an official feature within UBB6 itself or a hack will be determined on a hack by hack basis... Ted has final say on anything occuring with UBB6, even if I'll be doing much of the programming and Dave much of the thinking.

Are you still going to create the UGB 2.0?

Charles, one that you said you would look into was a hack that would do one of two things.

1)go through a board's entire membership list and grant every member access to post in a restricted forum.

or

2)EXCLUDE certain members from posting in restricted forums.

This was envisioned as a discipliary measure to ban members temporarily from posting in particular forums without banning them from the entire board.

That's MarkB's project. If you can convince him to hand it over to me at some point in the future (once UBB 6.1 is out of the gate), sure...

Although I couldn't begin to recall all of the items on your to-do list, Charles, I do recall that you mentioned the SlashUBB hack as one of your items. Hope this helps.

Also, it doesn't get said enough here, but you and the other UBB hackers deserve a lot of thanks and credit for your work. I've learned quite a bit about Perl scripting just from implementing and tweaking the hacks that you guys develop. So, even though we may not always say it, thanks!

IIRC, the SlashUBB hack is being developed by someone else... I stated that I'd do it if no one else is. *L*

much better use of .css.... I know you talked about that... xhtml templates as well, but the css would help tremendously with file download size...
