Ok the new UBB already comes with a picture field.

what I need is to put that picture under their rank, limit it's size and put in a blank gif for people that do not have an image.

I was able to get the image under the rank, that was easy. It is the rest I can not figure out.

Ok thta is the avatar hack. It is nice, but not what i want. I do not want to have to have images for them. I do not want images stored on my server.

What I want to do is take the picture in the profile that is alreay available and use that as the image under the name

it is not the same avatar hack it lets people put in a url for it i think that is not it i will send you the code that i used to get it working

Change the width and height to what you want and user_profile[18]; makes it where you use one of the custom profile things and is the second to last one.
Then fine:

ok that one guy had what I wanted posted using the picture in the profile.


Thank you M2sc. That was exactly what i wanted. Installed in about 1 minute and it works fine.

Good work, m2sc-com! I installed your hack on my UBB, and it's working good. I tested it using a scaled-up big grin picture as my avatar. I've got mine set to 80x80 for the max dimensions.

Thanx for this code "M2sc-com" but i cant find on which file i have to apply these changes... i mean the name of the file is not written...will be grateful if someone gives the name of it because i want to use this mod. on my board..thanx in adv.

thanks for reply...I've made the changes but it did not work ...do i have to change anything in this code "my $this_img = $user_profile[18];" will you please xplain...dont have much knowledge about cgi scripting, can it be in simple explaination?the version i use is ubb6.02 thanks again
