Reading the "Newspro --> Ubb6 Addon " thread it occured to me that we get a lot of trouble makers like that. Not always so blatent most of the time but on the other hand we sometimes get a lot worse.
A good hack would be a kind of warning count on the left under the users name and rating etc. So if they get a warning they get some sort of icon like the stars but when they get 3 they are suspended.
This would make it easier for the moderators to keep an eye on who has already been warned etc.
I kind of like this idea. It would give the offender a chance to sober up.
Once a user gets three strikes, I'd have him suspended for ten days. If a user gets suspended again within a certain period (a month perhaps), he'd be banned. If the user did something particularly egregious, he could get banned instantly on the first three strikes.
