I am looking for someone how can either design or that has a CGI script that can be run manually on a web server that copies set files, directories & subdirectories from one server to another by FTP.

One possible way is for it to use the following command first (tar cfpvz file_name.tar.gz *) then authenticate using FTP to the remote server and send the file across or alternatively just copy the files across one-by-one.

I think the first option would be preferable as it keeps the directory scructure and file permissions in tact.

If anyone can design a script that can do this or already has one then let me know.

Thanks
