On our site, we currently have a forum, however, we would like to add a chat room and it has been decided the software will be ichat Rooms 5.0.
This is all good and fine, however, I don't want to inconvenience our users by asking them to register twice.
Has anyone created a hack, for v5.4 or v6 for the UBB to use an external database for user authentication?

Thanks much.

Yes, that is the problem, additional fields.
Ichat collects the following:
First and Last Name,
Address,
Gender,
username and password
as well as some demographic stuff.

MasterMind,
When you say "someone", I'm assuming someone in these forums. Is there anyone I can contact for an estimated time of completion? Or am I wrong in assuming that someone is here at all?

Thanks
