Out of the box my private messages get deleted whenever I reply to them. If I want to retain the private message I have to respond separately and copy/paste my reply to the new message. I have yet to hit the "delete message" links but I've lost a few messages because I replied to them I would really appreciate an option to turn this "feature" on or off (ie. Delete original message after you reply... yes/no).
Also an "Outbox" would be sweet... I really miss that from the V5 private messages.
i accualy think that these type of hacks should be made. becouase some people have alot of hacks int here current board and dont feel llike updating couse they would loose all there hacks! and some people just like there boar the way it is but with some hacks! i believe someone should make this hack
Took me a solid weekend to upgrade to 6.04e and install all my preferred hacks, so I'm not real anxious to go thru that again (unless 6.1 comes with significant improvements or includes some hack features out of the box). For now I would just like to change the default setup so it doesn't delete the message after replying to it. There are several options for the users to delete messages if they so choose. Anybody taken a look at this yet? I guess I'll dig into it this weekend and see if I can find anything. Nothing fancy, just stick to the reply and leave the delete up to the user
