Is it possible to make a hack where I could put my member count on the front of my site?
Also along with making the ubb members my site members is it possible to make a page for users to browse the member directory by state, age, ect. ?

about the hack that allows you to put the registered members number (also # of topics and # of posts) in a shtml page of the website, I have asked too in ubbdev but no one seems to have made it, even though they (those whom I asked) say it's a simply thing to do, nobody seem to have enough time to do it cause they're busy making bigger hacks...
Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.
