Anyone know a way to add in more information to the $AuthorExtra , other than the Join , Location?

Like if I wanted to add 3 optional profiles fields to the listing.

So that it would display ie

Posts: | From: | OptionalField1: | OptionalField2: |Registered: | IP:


I know you can just add the coding yourself to make it display whatever.. like


Posts: | From: | Sex: Please | Registered: | IP:

By just putting | Sex: Please after the Location profile field when registering. I want it to be automatic though..

I was looking at the coding.. I'm a dummy though.

I figure ubb_lib_posting.cgi and public_topic_page.pl ??

I have no idea..but It would be good if they made a hack for extra fields there...

Cant you use the Custom Fields in the cp and call em in public_topic_page.pl?

Use a custom field and implement it in $AuthorExtra, like so:

Find:


and add beneath it:


Use the first custom field for this. And create a wordlet called optional_field1 (I'm assuming you know how to do that).

That's a pretty crude hack right there, but it should work.

And might I add, unless you want a 500 ISE, might want to find this:


Note: I don't want to take up a whole page with the local() statement so the dots are just substituted..

Find $reg_date_line in the local statement and add this after it:


And would get it for ya.. Hope I wasn't too confusing..
