I don't know if the idea of this hack is done, if so please tell me..
I need a hack that let the UBB prevet any post to be published before an administrator or an moderator check it... I think it's possible.. anyone know about this?

just curious why would you want to do this .. ?

my discussion board will be hosted in a country that has 0 freedom, 0 democracy. If any of the visitors come and publish any message that talk about the government the next morning the site and me will be in unknown world

Anyway.. this hack will determine if I can buy the UBB or not.

Suggestions for the hack:

1. Check the number of the posting person.
2. if he is in a recommended list, publish his post immediately.. if not bend it untill been read by an administrator or moderator.
3. the hack will determine who can edit, delete or pass the posts to the bord..
4. will also determine who can recomment "clean" people or people who are trusted not to post illegal messages.
5. may also put a choice in the control panel wether to activate or deactivate this feature

You can make the forums "postable" for the "approved" list of members, just set it in forum details.

You can also set the forum moderators to recieve an email notice everytime someone posts.

You can censor out words that might get you in trouble.

A little stricter, you can set the forums to private and only allow certain members to even view the threads.

This is available in the base code, I am not sure about actual moderation of posts.

I know all of these possibilities in UBB
But the hack I'm suggesting will make users be more free to register.. I need a bigger community. Requiring the users to wait approval will let them feel more restrict and some of them may may ignore the board.
There will be employees in the help desk that can check messages "almost" immediately. So the posting people may not feel that their post passed a control system.
Another advantage of the hack I'm suggesting is that it will be more easy to make free-to-post boards. The 24/24 hours help desk will know immediately about each message posted.
Of course you may say if the employees are available 24/24 hours, then no need fo such control.
Examples happened here, a message against the government was posted by someone, and deleted after minutes by the administrator, unfortunately in this time gab one of the intelegences made screen shots for that topic.. the site was closed and owner was jailed
