We at GNG have private forums.. then within the private forum we have 1 that only 10 or so members get access to. It has shown SEVERAL times members that clearly do not have access as browsing that forum. here is a screen shot..

They're not actually in there, they just clicked on the forum name, got the "Access Denied" screen, but were recorded as browsing. It happens because the WOL call is made before any access verification is done.

It's fixed.

In ultimatebb.cgi,
delete the Who's Online part of "if ($ubb eq 'forum') {", and do as the instructions say in ubb_forum.cgi

ooooo ok.. well I didn't know if he meant something else or not.. I like to be crystal clear on things.. ya know? Thanks though I'll try it tonight.

last question, i promise.. When you say follow the instructions in Who's Online readme.txt in regards to ubb_forum.cgi. Do I apply those instuctions to ultimatebb.cgi.. or what? I ask because since I already DID the whos online install and followed said instructions.. well.. didn't I already do whatever those instuctions say?

If you've already changed ubb_forum.cgi, just remove the "if ($ubb eq 'forum')" part.

In other words,

1) Inside ultimatebb.cgi

under the line if $ubb eq 'forum' { make sure there's nothing related to Who's Online there.

2) Then inside ubb_forum.cgi

you have followed all the instructions carefully in Whos_Onlin_Readme.txt.
