Let say there are 30 forums in the UBB, 15 about chit chat, and other 15 forums about computerrelated stuff. The user just interested in the chitchat groups, can put a checkmark beside each of the chitchat forums, and reload the page, and all the computerrelated forums are gone away for this particular user. He only sees the forums he want to see.
I understand this can be a difficult hack to make...coo*kiebased an so on...but it would be nice to offer the users this option
Also it would be nice to offer the user to set his/her own template, choosed from some preset ones....but this one is not so important for me...just a thougt about what could be done to give the user som options to set his/her own environment in the ubb.

Thinking back to the v5 days, there was a mod called the "favorites" mod, that did just that. You might wanna try convincing someone to port it over for you.

I remember favorites! That hack was awesome. Too bad it hasn't been heard of till now. If I can find the script for v5. I will try and port it over.

That would be nice if you triad to do that. Make it compatible with the HiddenForums hack though, so the user are not beeing able to choose among those
