How can I add a field to the author information area that is at the bottom of each post? I have 1 custom registration field and want to have that field displayed at the bottom.

see some posts from yesterday, i was looking for that also.
open public_topic_page.pl (templates)
look for:
$AuthorExtra
Add after:
| $user_profile[16]
Final code:
$AuthorExtra | $user_profile[16]

$user_profile[16]
make sure that the 16 is change to the number that specifies the custom field
customfield1 = 16
customfield2 = 17
customfield3 = 18
customfield4 = 19
