I've been thinking about this (err.. no, i've seen this )
What about if users can define their own subscription?..
so it would be something like this:

eGo2000 <-- username
#member# <--- member#
I Love UBBdev.com <-- user-defined subscription
[Avatar/# of posts/whatever] <--- read the tags

Maybe i'm just full of talk, and somebody has already done this,...
if so, where can i find this add-on/hack ??

Just use the custom fields in the Registration settings and then look in a couple of the forums to figure out how to display them on the topic page.
