If you have any GREAT recommendations for color schemes could you post them here or email them to me? I'll work them up, do a screen shot and post them.

those are mine, of course. I don't know how well they really fit together, since I've changed where some colors go, and gotten rid of many places where alternating colors went...if you know what I mean.

Light or dark, happy or sad, indescribably delicious is good too, ANYTHING will do !!
AND.. I plan on adding the 'artists' name as I've done in the past unless someone tells me otherwise. If you don't want a link or your name on there... let me know.

I think a light colorsheme would do, you need a professional look for a site like this

Morph.. WAIT... these will be examples I'll set up on HTML pages to give ideas to other people. Thank you for the offer... but it's not for this specific board, they know what they want here I believe.

Earth tones work, they suit both sexes, and are easy on the eyes. I must admit the white page look before was easier to read and work with the mods. I agree a more corporate look would be more suitable to attract ad clients ( a site that pays for itself is always appreciated ), the black is fine, but it's not very condusive to drawing marketing types etc. There is already a strike against forums as far as most ad agencies think. They don't like sites with user defined content. This is why it really can tear a board down when flame wars etc happen.

I speak from some experience I've worked as a commercial web designer for 3+ years.

Having said that the look now is fine, although so much blue is not needed.. I wonder, over 2300 members, but I would bet less than 100 post. That is typical of all ubb's. What I'm getting at is what would it take to have 'em all here and contributing?
Perhaps a different look (I went thru more incarnations on my own site before I found what worked).
