Of course. Just make those links in a normal .html file and link to the proper location used in UBB.
So you can have an href link on your index.html page with Login on it and this would point to the ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=login link. You can get the full link in the status bar of your browser.

I mean can I post the login thing up? Using the cookie to verify if the user is already logged in.
