There is nothing wrong with it but i was wandering if it was possible that some knows how to make it say or work like it does on the new verson of ubb.....

So it doesnt keep adding one but just updates only one if edited like it does here and it doesnt show up in the message field when you edit it....

If someone could help me , i thank you..

Note: my UBB 6.05.

There's a way to disable it from showing up when a person edits a post is thats what you mean..its done in the cp under Miscellaneous Options

I still want it but i want it like it is on the new verson of ubb.

where when they edit there post it will add it as normal but if they edit it agian or someone else ( admin or mod ) edits it it will not show up int he posting field like it does in 6.05 and it updates the one that was there before not keep adding more wording like this

There is a hack for it. Search the v6.0 Mod forum for it.

Just search "edit" and select searchh subject only and you should find what ya need.

Alright i searched on it and cant find it, do you or anyone else have that hack, till someone gets to this i am going to try and do it myself if it works i will make it CP controled and post it on this board .

BTW, if you want to copy 6.2's features, why can't you just upgrade? Or why can't you open ubb_edit_post/ubb_new_reply and see how they got this edit thing to work like it works

2 I dont want to upgrade right now. i have done too much to upgrade 57 hacks total. plus my own. so at the moment i dont need to but in the future when i get my own server i am going to have multiple MB's and i will be usin the news one for that. thats all.

Heh yeah LK some people just don't want to loose their hacks. Some put alot of effort into them and not want to re-do it just to get some more features.

I got the hack working on my ubb, and thank you all.

Small question ? When somone replys with quote they get the normal stuff but there are 2 tags that dont do anything..

[ qb ]the message[ qb ] can you tell me what it does and why it doesnt work.

QB stands for Quote and Bold.
