I've seen this hack requested many times before, but I don't think anyone has ever made it.
The idea is to have a "User Notes" section on every users profile which is only visible to admins and moderators. This would have to be visible and updateable through the members profile link in their messages.
This would allow admins and moderators to pass comments (and record them) for any users. For example, you could post warnings or compliments.
I would kill for this hack. I think it would be really useful for loads of people. Anyone like to write it?

Bump. I really REALLY need this. Isn't there anyone who can do this?
Yeah, I know - "do it yourself", but I'm not the greatest coder, I probably could do it if I wanted to, but it would take me a LONG TIME, as I've never done a hack like that before.

LK, if you do attempt this, please consider this:
Adding a link from the user's forum profile that will take the Administrator directly to the user's CP profile. That alone would be a great help.

Well, I'm desperate for this. I'm quite frankly shocked that no one has done it - it's by far and away the most useful thing I can think of that's not in the software!
