I would like to see a hack where the moderators could rate each thread like "Rate this Topic". Then the users could turn a filter on and only see threads that are 3+ stars or 4+ stars and not have to see troll threads of flames wars etc. Is something like this possible?

another cool hack for 6.1 would be a list of the member form highest post to lowest post.
and a way to search through them like
Member name
age
location
post count
member status
most posts in certain catagory
and more.

You can do that in the memberlist. I'm not sure if that's available for 6.1.x yet, though.

Actually it's almost EXACTLY the same thing. The only differences are some minor changes in the readme.txt (like exit(0);, etc), and the '0 posts' bug that Bookie- didn't fix yet.
I suggest you to wait to Memberlist 3.6.9 (that will probably have some new features) if you don't want to port it yourself.
