I don't know if that exist, but something that when you post a new tread on a certain section the server automatiquely copy that new to your html or php home page
something like this

TITLE OF THE NEWS = Subject of the thread
NEWS = The message (where I type now)
Comment = link to the news ON the BOARD
(x) = replace x by the number of reply
by user @ time = who post it, the time
if that exist, in PHP, that would be VERY cool!
btw, if it's in HTML, i'll try to find out to change it un PHP
