Basically I have seen how VB has it setup that when someone sends you a PM, the moment you either signon or click to move thru the forum you get this popup that says, You have a PM. Then it asks would you like to goto it now, yes or no.

I would love if someone could come up with this hack.

I was just thinking of something similar. Where is says "Hello, username [log out]", if there were a hack or something so that it would say "Hello, username, you have 5 new messages. [log out]"

Something that would let users know they have PM's without them having to click on their profiles to find out.

I did a search of the db for private messages, but didn't turn up anything.
